Bridging Design & Engineering
About
A designer who adapts.
20 years bridging
creativity & technology.
A designer who adapts — that's the most honest description. I come from a generation that had to be generalist and specialist simultaneously. That upbringing built something rare: the ability to absorb whatever a project demands — guidelines, tools, frameworks, research, references — and turn it into design that actually solves problems.
Today I sit at the intersection of design and engineering. I use AI-augmented workflows with enough technical depth to make developers' lives easier: translating interface intent into implementation clarity, turning complex flows into understandable logic, and making the design-to-dev handoff feel less like a gap and more like a bridge. AI is part of how I work — directing it well is the leverage that twenty years of design judgement provides. The tools amplify the craft; they don't replace it.
Research and discovery are non-negotiable. Understanding the real problem before opening Figma is how I find the right challenges and the right solutions. It's also where I'm most energised.
Design systems aren't just component libraries — they're the architecture of a product's language. One of the most rewarding projects of my career was rebuilding the Information Architecture of Logitech's guidelines library. Not a single screen designed. Entirely impactful.
